Efkay Music Instruments Ltd. Founder and longtime industry friend Fred Kalisky passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008. He was 83. Fred was an Honourary Life Member of MIAC, and will be missed by friends and family in and outside of the industry. CMT offers regrets to Fred's family, friends, and peers at Efkay. |

The release party for the upcoming KoSA DVD is being held Sunday, May 11, 2008 at 6 p.m. at the Lula Lounge, 1585 Dundas St. West, Toronto. Admission is $10. Invited artists include Mark Kelso, Roberto Occhipinti, Kevan McKenzie, Al Webster, Aldo Mazza, and more. Door prizes will also be available.
