14-06-2007 Today’s customer is more demanding than ever, and simply satisfying the customer’s needs does not guarantee a loyal following. As a retailer you need to exceed their expectations. Laurie Brown, Customer Service Expert, wrote a new article: Stop Satisfying Your Customers: Start Going Above and Beyond Their Expectations. In this article, she shows readers how to take their service to the next level. Tips that she shares include: make sure good basic service is being provided, before trying to go above and beyond; engage a customer in a discussion to learn what they need and want; make exceptional customer service unique for each client; and a few low cost examples of how to surprise and delight customers. Brown is an international speaker, trainer, and consultant. She is also the author of The Teleprompter Manual, for Executives, Politicians, Broadcasters, and Speakers.
