Tomas Enochsson, International Sales Manager for Nord Keyboards and Clavia DMI ABNord has announced that Erikson Music is the new Canadian distribution partner for Nord Keyboards. “I believe Erikson Music needs no further introduction, as the company is well known to everybody in the Canadian and global music industry for years of serious and professional distribution,” says Enochsson.
Erikson Music Vice President, Michael Golden, had this to say of the appointment: "We are very pleased to add Nord products to the catalogue at Erikson music. Nord products provide ease of use and high quality performance features that strikes a "chord" among musicians. Our Erikson music team is looking forward to providing strong service and support to the Canadian market for these fine keyboards."
Erikson Music will become the exclusive Canadian distributor on October 1, 2010.

Pro audio legend Keith Barr--founder of Alesis and numerous other companies--died on August 24 at the age of 61, felled by an apparent heart attack in his Vancouver, WA home.
Characterized by those who knew him as more an engineer and inventor than a businessman, Barr nonetheless founded a number of companies over his career, starting with guitar effect pedal manufacturer MXR Innovations in 1973. |

Breedlove Guitar Company has announced a distribution partnership with Canadian independent distributor of musical instruments, Erikson Music.
