Map Released of the Expanded 2018 NAMM Show Campus

NAMM_hdrThe 2018 NAMM Show will offer exhibitors and attendees the largest expanded campus in the show’s history when the doors open January 25-28, 2018 in Anaheim, CA. The Show, which annually gathers over 100,000 attendees from 139 countries and regions, will take on a new look in the form of communities across the show floor, including expanded event technology and pro audio areas; the addition of a new building, Anaheim Convention Center North (ACC North); as well as a new education and professional development campus, curated by a variety of industry leading experts in their respective fields.

IMSTA FESTA Toronto Returning to Ryerson University in October

IMSTA FESTAThe fourth annual IMSTA FESTA Toronto show will head back to Ryerson University on Saturday Oct. 14, 2017.  Presented by the International Music Software Trade Association (IMSTA) and the SAE Institute, IMSTA FESTA events will be held in Chicago, New York, and Berlin, in addition to Toronto, and showcase the latest music-making and production technologies as well as educational seminars and keynotes speeches and Q&As.

ESTA Announces New Alliance with NAMM for 2018 Show

The Entertainment Services and Technology Association (ESTA) has announced an alliance with the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) to work with them in expanding the NAMM Show to include a special focus on the live event technology community. The show annually welcomes more than 100,000 professional attendees from 139 countries.

This opportunity was made possible by the addition of a new building coming online at the Anaheim Convention Center, where the show is held every January. The additional space will allow The 2018 NAMM Show to offer the event technology industry a diverse show floor, robust professional education, and a series of relevant networking events.

Mother Mother, The Beaches & Meghan Patrick added to CosmoFEST’s 2017 Artist Lineup

ADD1 CosmoFestMI megastore Cosmo Music in Richmond Hill, ON has announced that alt rock hitmakers Mother Mother, country starlet Meghan Patrick, and indie rockers The Beaches will be taking the CosmoFEST 2017 main stage for free concerts on Saturday, June 3rd.

These artists include the previously announced performers that include, guitarist Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper), guitarist Nili Brosh, (The Iron Maidens, Tony Macalpine), drummer Chris Coleman (Prince, Chaka Khan, New Kids on the Block), bassist Alain Caron (UZEB), and drummer Dennis Chambers (Santana, Parliament/Funkadelic). All of these artists make up a series of musician clinics, performances, and meet n’ greets happening at CosmoFEST.

Educational Schedule & Exhibitor List Released for Expo-Scène 2017

Expo-SceneCITT/ICTS is preparing to welcome more than 60 exhibitors and over 1,200 visitors to Montreal for the third annual Expo-Scène trade show and conference, which is returning to the Palais des congrès de Montréal from April 12-13, 2017. Expo-Scène is currently the only major Canadian event dedicated to professionals in the pro audio, lighting, audiovisual, video, and multimedia technology markets.

As in the past, the Business Academy inspired by SOMM will be a source of expert knowledge for trade visitors to Musikmesse, which is taking place from April 5-8, 2017, in Frankfurt, Germany. Over 20 impulse and keynote lectures by renowned speakers will present strategies and potential solutions to the challenges currently facing the musical instrument industry. The lectures will be held on all four days of the fair in Hall 11.1 (‘Business Area & Full-range Companies’), which is open to trade visitors only. A simultaneous translation service means all lectures will be available in German and English.
