The third annual IMSTA FESTA Toronto show will head back to Ryerson University on Saturday Oct. 15, 2016. Presented by the International Music Software Trade Association (IMSTA), the IMSTA FESTA events are held annually in Toronto, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles and showcase the latest music-making and production technologies as well as educational seminars and keynotes speeches and Q&As.
This free IMSTA FESTA event is open to anyone interested in the art of music making; professional and semi-professional musicians, songwriters, music producers, and audio engineers, as well as music students and educators. The day-long event will feature panels, workshops and master classes, demonstrations and more. Organizers say their aim is to host industry experts in an environment where music-makers can network, interact, and learn with them face-to-face.

The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) has announced Visa Assist, a new support program designed to help international members of the pro audio and music products industry attend and conduct business at the 2017 NAMM Show. The new program aims to offer helpful guidance for international attendees and to streamline the visa acquisition process.

The Musical Distributors Association has announced that the 2017 edition of its annual Show & Tell Day will be held Tuesday, Jan. 17 at the Anaheim Hilton from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
According to the MDA, the Show & Tell event is a one-day, members-only opportunity for suppliers and distributors to network and transact business in a collaborative, focused environment, and get a head start on their NAMM appointments. It will be back at the Anaheim Hilton in the California D ballroom, next door to the Anaheim Convention Center and right in the middle of all the excitement at the 2017 NAMM Show. And MDA’s “Best of Show” secret shopper will be back, too.

Badge registration and hotel bookings for the 2017 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA is now open. The show will return to the Anaheim Convention Center from Jan. 19-22, 2017.
Last year a record 101,726 attendees explored products from more than 1,700 exhibitors showcasing over 6,000 brands. Plus, attendees were able to choose from 120+ educational sessions and 150+ networking events.

The 2016 Summer NAMM show returned last week to Music City Center in Nashville, offering a platform for buyers, exhibitors, and professionals to engage with the latest products, learn new business strategies, connect with other industry peers, and to position their businesses for the second half of the year.
