MDA Schedules Annual Pre-NAMM Show & Tell Event for Jan. 17

NAMMThe Musical Distributors Association has announced that the 2017 edition of its annual Show & Tell Day will be held Tuesday, Jan. 17 at the Anaheim Hilton from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

According to the MDA, the Show & Tell event is a one-day, members-only opportunity for suppliers and distributors to network and transact business in a collaborative, focused environment, and get a head start on their NAMM appointments. It will be back at the Anaheim Hilton in the California D ballroom, next door to the Anaheim Convention Center and right in the middle of all the excitement at the 2017 NAMM Show. And MDA’s “Best of Show” secret shopper will be back, too.


NAMM Show 2017 Badge & Hotel Registration Now Open

NAMM plazaBadge registration and hotel bookings for the 2017 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA is now open. The show will return to the Anaheim Convention Center from Jan. 19-22, 2017.

Last year a record 101,726 attendees explored products from more than 1,700 exhibitors showcasing over 6,000 brands. Plus, attendees were able to choose from 120+ educational sessions and 150+ networking events.

The 2016 Summer NAMM show returned last week to Music City Center in Nashville, offering a platform for buyers, exhibitors, and professionals to engage with the latest products, learn new business strategies, connect with other industry peers, and to position their businesses for the second half of the year.

Musikmesse & Prolight+Sound Welcome 110,000 Visitors in Frankfurt

Musikmesse and Prolight + Sound organizers report that nearly 110,000 people from 130 countries visited the Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre in Germany over the course of the two trade shows, which took place April 4-9, 2016. This is slightly up from 108,409 who registered for the events in 2015. A total of 2,043 exhibitors from 60 countries presented at the restructured fairs. Additionally, more than 20,000 music fans attended the 50-plus concerts of the Musikmesse Festival, which was held for the first time at over 30 locations concurrently with Musikmesse.
