Yorkville Sound’s Jeff Cowling
Yorkville Sound is now the exclusive Canadian distributor for the Ernie Ball strings and accessories catalog. Founded in California in 1962, Ernie Ball’s electric guitar strings artist roster boasts names like Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Slash, Metallica, and John Mayer. In addition to its string lines, the current Ernie Ball catalog also includes guitar straps, tuners, slides, and a pedal line.

Eastman Music Company has announced they have entered into a long term exclusive distribution agreement with Backun Musical Services, a Canadian manufacturer of clarinets and woodwind accessories, to bring the Backun line of products to Eastman dealers in North America, including Canada. The Backun line of products joins the Eastman family, which includes Eastman, Wm. S. Haynes Co. and S.E. Shires instruments.

Hal Leonard has announced that it is now distributing ZT Amplifiers in the United States and Canada.
First introduced in 2009, ZT’s focused line focuses ultra-compact combo amps designed to allow musicians to actually gig with an amp that weighs less than 10 pounds.
