Music Marketing is now the North American distributor for Sony Creative Software. This means that now more musical instruments resellers using XCHANGE Market Platform are able to carry and sell Sony Products.

Dunlop Appoints Coast Music as Canadian Distributor

Dunlop Manufacturing has appointed Coast Music, a division of Jam Industries, as its exclusive distributor for the Canadian market. This change takes effect as of Nov. 1, 2014.

Dunlop says that in an effort to streamline its distribution and put a greater focus on the Dunlop family of brands, it will be restructuring its distribution model in Canada. The company says in a statement, “We feel that this change will allow us to position Dunlop products more favorably in the market and encourage further growth over time.”


Hal Leonard Now Distributing Apogee Electronics

Recent talks between Hal Leonard Corporation and digital audio recording company Apogee Electronics have culminated in a new distribution deal for the MI and pro audio channels in the U.S. and Canada. Apogee director of worldwide sales, Jeremy Stappard, reached the agreement with Brad Smith, senior sales and marketing manager for Hal Leonard.

Hal Leonard will initially distribute Apogee’s ONE for iPad and Mac, MiC 96k, JAM, JAM 96k, andGiO lines. These products were some of the first professional-quality audio interfaces for recording using iPhones, iPads, and Macs.
