Counterpoint Music Services has been named the sole Canadian distributor for Stravari’s rosins and orchestral accessories. Stravari has been building orchestral instruments for over 20 years has recently released a line of handcrafted, small batch fine bow rosins and care products.
“We met Robyn and Sheila Rockley from Stravari at the NAMM show in January. An American distributor that had just met them and taken on the product made the introduction as they thought it would be a good fit for us. They said ‘You have to see their beautiful rosin, and their spit!’ Well, that got out attention! After meeting with them and learning about the research and development that has gone into their line of rosins and cleaning products, we felt that this was a product that we wanted to make available to our Canadian dealers,” Kathleen Stokholm, manager at Counterpoint, tells CMT. “Stravari has also provides excellent tools for the dealer to use to help the player choose the rosin that most suits their needs. Their Pick Your Grip chart takes the guess work out of selecting the perfect rosin for your playing style.”
