Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, Jeff Cowling, Crockard’s territory will include southwestern and northern Ontario. Rounding out the Ontario sales team is Chris Gauthier and Alex Donmoyer, who will collectively represent Yorkville’s brands in Ontario.
Celestion has announced the appointment of Darrell Vasquez as business development executive. In his new role, Vasquez will work together with Celestion’s valued sales and distribution partners in the U.S. and Canada to expand their offerings to new markets, as well as servicing their current clientele.
Vasquez most recently worked in direct sales and consumer relations at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation in Scottsdale, AZ, which included work with their specialty brands. Prior to that, he held several roles with Best Buy Corporation, including positions in home theatre sales and installation, business account management, and the musical instrument marketplace. He has also handled merchandising throughout the Nevada and Arizona territories for Bose Corporation. A graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, Vasquez’s education and experience working with MI and pro audio markets will allow him to explore a wide range of new business opportunities for at Celestion, according to the company.
Former Head of Development at TC Electronic, Morten Lave, has joined the Danish guitar pedal company Lunastone. He will be the third ex-TC employee to become part of Lunastone, as other former TC employees Allan Strand and Jesper Dalum have already joined the newcomer from Copenhagen in the past years.

The board of directors of the Coalition for Music Education has appointed Angela Elster as Interim Executive Director effective immediately.
“We are delighted that Angela has agreed to temporarily relinquish her seat on the Board to take on this important role as the Coalition prepares for a new school year,” said Eric Favaro, chair of the board. “Ms. Elster brings to this position a wealth of experience in the field of music and arts education, leading innovative projects that have enabled children and youth to experience the power of the arts in schools and communities across Canada and around the world.” This interim appointment allows more time for the Executive and Board to establish a leadership model moving forward.
Tim Ireland has been appointed as Orange Music Electronic Company (OMEC)’s new managing director with effect from Aug. 21st. This role includes global responsibilities for the whole group and the mission to drive the company forward in an ever changing industry.
