Techni+Contact/AMX Canada has announced two new appointments to its technical sales support team – Judson Wong has joined as product specialist and Daniel Brassard is leading business development, effective immediately.
Judson brings 22 years of technical experience in AV, with a focus on project management and implementation of technical strategies. He is tasked with assisting the sales team with technical support on projects across Canada on all the company’s audio lines as well as AMX. “Judson’s expertise and skill-set really complement the team’s. We are very lucky to have him on board,” says Jean-Pierre Xenopoulos, director of sales.
As a GHS endorsing artist for the past 12 years, Calise is already well acquainted with the Battle Creek, MI-based string company. She brings a wealth of experience not only as an accomplished musician and entertainer, but also as a small business owner, former entertainment columnist, promotions manager, and brand ambassador.
St. Louis Music and Alvarez have announced the return of J. Hayes as brand development manager for Alvarez Guitars. J. Hayes is an accomplished and professional guitarist with decades of industry experience as a musician, teacher, and product manager, and worked for SLM for many years prior to 2005.
“I’m thrilled to return to SLM because it’s my home,” says Hayes. “I’ve been playing Alvarez guitars since the ‘70s and it feels great to return and be able to take the brand to new heights.”
St Louis Music has announced the promotion of Lang Shen to the position of product manager of Knilling Strings. In her new role, Lang will oversee and drive the day to day operations of the Knilling and Nicoló Gabrielli lines, both of which she has played a role in their development and success.
“Lang has been a wonderful friend and a key member of the SLM team for many years,” says Craig Denny, VP of band and orchestra at St. Louis Music. “She knows Knilling and Nicoló Gabrielli better than anyone, having shepherded both under previous product managers. She also has a deep sense of the string business which will prove invaluable in this new role. It’s a pleasure to be able to offer her a very well deserved promotion.”
Forsberg is based at DPA’s headquarters in Denmark where he will be responsible for overseeing global sales activity and helping to develop new prospects for DPA’s product portfolio, which covers pro audio, live sound, theatre, broadcast, house of worship, and installation markets.
