Contact Distribution has announced that Fredrick Dorval has joined the sales team as the Eastern Sales Manager for the eastern region of Quebec and the Maritimes, including eastern Ontario, which includes Ottawa.
A significant presence in the Montreal pro audio market over the last 11 years as the PA Manager of Solotech’s Head office retail operations, Dorval brings with him a wealth of experience and relationships in all market applications and technologies. Prior to Solotech, Dorval toured throughout North America as the sound director with the Cole Brothers Circus garnering hands-on experience with a vast assortment of manufacturer’s products, operational challenges, and solutions. Prior to that he attended Laval University focusing on a communications degree in his home town of Quebec.
Dorval comments, “Fortunately my background has afforded me a great experience in both sales and system design as well as hands-on appreciation of the complex gear that sound reinforcement requires and the best way to apply it. As one of their dealers I’ve worked with Bill and the Contact staff and have been impressed with the sophisticated list of brands that they distribute and their total commitment to technically supporting them. Based out of Montreal, Dorval will be communicating to the authorized network of contractors and resellers as well as consulting firms, technicians, and significant venue personnel to introduce himself and new products/new solutions to the various markets that Contact Distribution Ltd services as a national pro audio distributor.
