NAMM has announced the final registration and exhibitor numbers for 2010 Summer NAMM. At show close, NAMM reported a four percent decrease in registration from last year’s event, with 12,463 total registrants for the three-day event. Exhibitor numbers were slightly up at the Nashville Convention Center during this year of economic recovery, with 383 companies displaying and demonstrating products.

The West Coast Gear Show is the first public expo of its kind in Western Canada. On display will be the latest products and services from local companies. A variety of businesses will be exhibiting this year including manufacturers, retailers, repair/setup companies, and music schools. |

Judges for this years Niagara Music Awards have just been announced. All judges will meet at Boston Pizza at 934 Niagara St in Welland on Sunday May 30th to review each and every submission entered into the 3rd annual Niagara Music Awards. All musicians are encouraged to come out and meet the judges, watch the submissions on the big screen and network with others in the industry. Submissions start at noon and will run until approx 8pm. Wedemark, 19 May 2010 – Late during the evening of 17 May 2010, only a few days after his 98th birthday, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Fritz Sennheiser, audio pioneer and founder of today’s Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG, passed away. The audio industry has lost a huge figure, not only in terms of his technical expertise but also in terms of his humanity. |
