CMT at NAMM Show 2013 – Day 1 ContinuedThursday, January 24th, 2013
CMT is down in Anaheim, CA at The NAMM Show 2013. Here’s a brief look at some of the sights from around the Anaheim Convention Center during the afternoon of day 1 of the show.
The crowd through the entire convention centre grew exponentially throughout the day. Busy but comfortable numbers of people in the morning grew to the point that you could barely move without running into someone in the afternoon.
With so much competition for people’s attention, many companies enlist the help of top-quality musicians. Crowds were swarming the Stokyo booth as this guy put on a killer DJ set.
The crowd is sometimes more entertaining than the products.
Though it comprises a much smaller portion of the show than the MI products, the pro lighting section, housed in the Anaheim Convention Center Theater, is a sight to behold. Spend too much in there, however, and you may get a seizure.
Fort Collins, CO’s Shel, a folk quartet, drew a lot of attention to the DPA microphones press conference. A truly fantastic group. In case you’re wondering, DPA was showcasing the d:facto II vocal mics that each of the girls was using.
Tonight CMT will heading to the NAMM Chairman’s Reception and then off to our own party to welcome the Canadian contingent that’s made the trip. Tune in tomorrow for more.
